The Wednesday News Show #9
Welcome back to the Wednesday News Show! Last week I wasn’t feeling very well, and although me and some of my crew are feeling well, Davi and Danny are out because of feeling ill. Anyway, today we have an odd collection of stories, ranging from Swedish News with Dagnar McCune, Weird News with Danzig McCune, and Gaming News with Gary. First up is Swedish News with Dagnar!
Thank you, David. In my home country of Sweden this week, a young man pulled a sword from a stone. Apologies, that was my friend Arthur. As I was saying, an 8 year old girl discovered a sword in a lake. Experts say it is 1,000 to 1,500 years old, and upon further investigation of the lake, a brooch was discovered which dates back to the 3rd century. The girl and her father originally believed it was an interestingly shaped stick, but when her father’s friend looked closer they discovered it was an actual sword. Now for Weird News with Danzig McCune!
Dagnar, you thank. Twifia. Is this a word? What does it mean? Why does a swiss baby have this as a middle name? Let’s find out. The answer to the is simple: No, nay, nah, naw, by no means, nae, negative.
The second question also is fairly simple: unknown, obscure, inconsequential, outlandish, and unfamiliar.
For the third question, the answer is more obscure. A Swiss Wi-Fi company, called Twifi, said on facebook that anyone who named their baby after their company would receive free Wi-Fi for 18 years. The mother and father decided to have their child’s middle name be Twifia, which still counts. Now for Gary News with Gaming McCune!

Well that’s not my name, but thanks anyway! Recently, data was researched about the most and least popular villagers in Animal Crossing. Although there are over 400 villagers, here are the 5 most popular, and my personal opinions on them:
- Zucker
Zucker is an octopus villager, and personally, he might be my favorite on this list. He looks so silly all the time, and his personality is lazy, which is my personal favorite personality. Overall, he seems like a pretty great villager and deserves his spot on this list.
- Marina
Marina looks really cute and fun, and her personality is the same. With a normal personality, she will have basically no conflicts, and has a hobby of music.
- Coco
Coco. Love her or hate her, she certainly is unique. She is the only rabbit with a normal personality, and also, in my opinion, is terrifying. But some people enjoy her for her friendly personality and educational hobbies.
- Bob
Bob is a purple cat, and is also a lazy personality like Zucker. His goal is to be a detective, which I find hilarious. He is my very favorite on this list, except for #1…
- Marshal
Marshal is a smug personality type, which means he is very gentleman-like, polite, and kind. He gets along well with every villager type except for cranky villagers. He also just looks happy and yet so fluffy all the time! Now for a brief word from David!
Thank you for reading! The book of the week is the Fowl Twins! Goodbye!
